Company History

International Procurement Services, IPS C.A. was incorporated in 2003 once Huntsman Corporation decided to closed their commercial office in Venezuela and centralize all their business for Latino America in Sao Paulo, Brasil. From then on, IPS C.A. had an important growing based in their concentrated business strategy around of the gas treating area.

		Products and Services offered by IPS C.A.   IPS supplies chemicals products, petrochemicals as many associated services to products supplying as not associated. The products included: Ethanolamines, Specialty Amines, formulated amines for gas treating applications, gas odorants, alkanes, Alkenes, aromatics Extraction Solvents, isoparaffin solvents, sulfurizing agents, references fuels, mercaptans, cyanides scavengers, glycols, curing agents for epoxies resins, catalyst for polyurethanes, surfactants (anionics, non ionics, cationics), activated carbon and others.   IPS supplies as well, turn key sweetening and dehydration plants, gas compression plants, solid bed H2S removal, Catalytic O2 removal, waste gas incineration, dew point control plants, cartridge elements filters, filters coalescers, new and used equipments for gas plants and process simulation software for oil refining and petrochemicals process.   The associated services are given to the customers as added value to the products supplying and represent the most important differentiate factor of their marketing strategy. The market nucleus around which has been based the expansion of the business of IPS C.A is gas treating. Indeed, consequent with their strategy of concentration of business in this area, IPS C.A. has based their growth on the search and consolidation of new products and services in the gas treating area, such as amines, Gas Odorants, Aromatic Extraction Solvents, Ammonium Polisulfide (APS), Filtration and Purification Service for Amines and Glycols, new a used equipment for gas plants. As a secondary markets, IPS focuses their products offer to markets as Detergents, Cosmetic and Personal Care, Metalurgic, Steel, Petroleum, Petrochemical, Chemical Specialties, Water Treatment , Construction’s products among others.
